Interoperability
OAI-PMH The OAI-PMH protocol is enabled and has content indexed.
REST API The REST API is enabled and has content available.
Robots file The Robots.txt file is available.
Sitemaps file The DSpace's Sitemaps feature is enabled.
Custom Handle Prefix The Handle Prefix has been customized.
Information Security
DSpace version The Repository's DSpace version is 6.4, which is still under support .
Cryptography The HTTPS protocol is enabled, the minimum version of TLS accepted is 1.2 and the HTTP protocol is forwarding to HTTPS.
Security Headers
The Headers X-Frame-Options
and X-Content-Type-Options
are properly set up.
Tomcat exposed Apache Tomcat does not seem to be the Web Server exposed to the Internet.
Standard Ports Standard HTTP/HTTPS ports are used and no port is exposed in the URL.
Performance
Subsecond Response Time The following pages: Homepage, Community List, Search Result, had an average response time lower than 1 second.
HTTP/2 Protocol The HTTP/2 Protocol is not implemented in the Web Server. HTTP/2 offers many enhancements over HTTP/1.1 such as Multiplexing of requests, Flow control and Prioritization.
Usability
Mobile Ready Something is preventing the test to be run by the Google's Mobile-Friendly Test tool. Usually this is due to a firewall or Robots.txt configuration.
Single Web Interface Only one User Interface is active. DSpace (up to version 6.X) is shipped with two User Interfaces: XMLUI and JSPUI. It is a good practice to have only one of these active.
Content in Communities and Collections All Communities and Collections have content. According to the REST API, there are 10 Communities and 15 Collections in the Repository.
