REST API The REST API is not enabled or doesn't have content available.

Robots file There is no Robots.txt file available.

Sitemaps file The DSpace's Sitemaps feature is not enabled. This feature should be enabled to boost access to the Repository's content.

Custom Handle Prefix This metric gathers data from the REST API, which is currently disabled.

DSpace version The Repository's DSpace version is 1.8.2, which is outdated or not supported . A version upgrade should be performed as soon as possible.

Cryptography In order to meet this criteria, the HTTPS protocol must be enabled, accepting TLS with minimum version of 1.2 and the HTTP protocol must forward to HTTPS.

Security Headers The Headers X-Frame-Options and/or X-Content-Type-Options are not available. Refer to OWASP Secure Headers Project for details on its benefits.

Tomcat exposed Apache Tomcat is the Web Server exposed to the Internet. Consider fronting Tomcat with Apache HTTP or Nginx.

Standard Ports The port is exposed in the URL. The Web Server should also listen to standard HTTP/HTTPS ports.

Subsecond Response Time The following pages: Homepage, Community List, Search Result, had an average response time lower than 1 second.

Compression The Gzip or Brotli methods are not available in the Web Server. Some advantages of enabling HTTP Compression are better explained in Mozilla Developer Network Web Docs .

HTTP/2 Protocol The HTTP/2 Protocol is not implemented in the Web Server. HTTP/2 offers many enhancements over HTTP/1.1 such as Multiplexing of requests, Flow control and Prioritization.

Mobile Ready Something is preventing the test to be run by the Google's Mobile-Friendly Test tool. Usually this is due to a firewall or Robots.txt configuration.

Single Web Interface More than one User Interface is active. DSpace (up to version 6.X) is shipped with two User Interfaces: XMLUI and JSPUI. It is a good practice to have only one of these active.
